    Dear Brian,
I integrate your plugin with Simple Calendar Events. Sounds good !

I understand that within Mailchimp, I can copy/paste in a newsletter the html code generated by your plugin, but the fact is that I am quite lazy…
In the mailchimp draft I have, every is based upon RSS so it’s automatic.
I was wondering if there is a way to integrate the upcoming events of “Simple Calendar Events” for the next week. And have only a kind of extract code.
For instance, articles are shown by this code within Mailchimp :
    *|FEEDBLOCK:https://www.sjsc.fr/feed|*
    *|FEED:TITLE|*
    *|FEED:DESCRIPTION|*
    *|FEEDITEMS:[$count=3]|*
    *|FEEDITEM:TITLE|*
    *|FEEDITEM:DATE:d/m/y|*
    *|FEEDITEM:CONTENT|*
    *|END:FEEDITEMS|*
    *|END:FEEDBLOCK|*

=> So I was wondering if it’s possible to get similar think with Event Calendar Newsletter ?
    Thanks and regards
    Vincent

    Hi Vincent,

Currently there is no way to create a feed from an event calendar in this plugin. However, I am looking into adding an automatic integration with MailChimp. My thought was to allow the newsletter to be created from WordPress, rather than using a feed.

Interesting idea to allow the creation of a feed instead so you can use FEEDBLOCK/FEEDITEM code and use your existing MailChimp templates. I think there would need to be options on what events to include in the feed, so you could have different feed blocks in the same newsletter.

But unfortunately for now will need to copy/paste ??
