Thank you for your reply. I reset the permissions for the file, they were already set to read and write allowed.
Could the fact that I have a WordPress multisite install be the problem?

Maybe I should mention that I am on a Windows server and installed the Windows server extensions and I checked the permissions.

This is only happening on the main blog.

I’m not using Domain Mapping

It is a sub-directory installation

I’m not using any translation plugins.

I forgot to mention that i’m using WP multisite. and I noticed that all the url’s in the sitemap have the same underscores after the domain name.

I seem to have the same problem with several items on one page. On page it shows the wrong or all the same articles.
