Studied the link/info and tried a bit.

Style disabled button answer(s) is not helping me removing the “add to cart” button when a (variable) product is out of stock. In previous versions of Woocommerce the “add to cart”button did not show at all when a (variable) product was out of stock.

In this version (2.5.0) of Woocommerce, the “add to cart” button is now showing at all times when “entering”a variable product. It is however disabled untill all the variable terms are selected. In previous versions of Woocommerce the “add to cart” button ONLY appeared when all of the variable terms were selected. It was a way of showing my customers and me are used to.

How can I have this (old) way of showing again?

Ok. In this matter: “the need of the many outway the need of the few”. I will look into “some rules” to clear the issue (with some help I hope).

The issue of the product quantity field showing even if it is disabled by using the “Option Sold Individually” is still remaining. Is that also due to user requests?

I checked all theme templates. None of them are out of date. I contacted my theme developer. I work with Garnish theme (by Boxy Studio). Justin Scheetz (developer at Boxy Studio) has tested the Garnish theme and 2 other themes. All have the same bugs. The templates that display the add to cart buttons and quantity fields are not customized by Garnish (and the other themes), so it appears that WooCommerce is using the default files with the bugs.
What to do next?
