Kept on wondering why the site on staging did perform great and the same actions on the ‘real’ site did not have the same result. So I tried again (steps 1 until 4 mentioned before). This time with suc6. Yeah!
Though I cannot explain why it did work this time.

Theme author did not respond yet, but I have tried the following:
1. Did put my website on staging
2. deactivated and deleted the WP Bakery Visual Composer plugin
3. Updated Woocommerce to version 2.6.12
4. Reinstalled and activated WP Bakery Visual Composer plugin
Website did perform without errors or messed-up tabs and accordion lay-out
So I did perform steps 1 until 4 on my “real” website thought it was OK. But then I refreshed the screen …. Again messe-up Visual composer tabs and accordeon sheets.
Must wait till the theme author responses ;-(

Thanks for your reply Lorro. I have contacted the theme author (Boxy Studio, Garnish theme), that had “build in” the Visual Composer plugin. Hope he can help.

Forget to mention, that i first performed:
1. Click the Tools menu. (the wrench in the upper-right corner)
2. Select Options.
3. Click the Under the Hood tab.
4. Click Clear browsing data
5. Cleared everything from first use/day 1

After that the previous mentioned 3 steps.

Tried al these refresh cache options (https://www.getfilecloud.com/blog/2015/03/tech-tip-how-to-do-hard-refresh-in-browsers/#.V2EM7LuLS9I), and after the last one it (finally) worked. Pffffffff. Still happy though ??

Idd with other browser (i.e. IE 11 or MS Edge) this problem isn’t there.

Do not understand that. Tried refreshing (ctrl-F5, empty history, caching, etc.) Chrome but that does not help.

Do you have any tip(s)?

On mobile idd looks normal. But on PC it doesn’t. Have refreshed, emptied caching, etc. Sry but what am i doing wrong?

Me neither, but even putting the HTML line back doesn’t help. All products show up like that now ;-(

I will ‘re-install’ the HTML line for better looks. I will have to wait for the bug fix and hope customers will not have to empty their carts

Great! I found the HTML in my theme in the themes woocommerce.php and replaced it with a generic x typed in. It worked. Thanks.
Looking forward for the first bug fix release for structural fix for this issue. For now you helped me a lot. And i will inform the developer. Thanks for the tip.

Tried to enable Template debug mode. Still the same issue. Can’t empty the shopping cart.
Will look on to .htaccess file and let you know.

Thx for responding. Have all in one wp security and tried it with disabling it. Still the same. Can’t find any other plugin or cause for blocking the Ajax request. What do do now?

The issue with the product quantity was solved with handmade change => https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/commit/8093194a44b03dee693ad657c3a5617c70b5bd1a
It is permanently solved with the update of Woocommerce today.

The issue with the add to cart button was solved by the theme developer from Boxy Studio, Justin Scheetz, through some disabled styling to the buttons and releasing another update.

All things fixed now. Many thanks to all.

Though on PC when “pointing” on the “add to cart” button, the button changes color and text appears with instructions to select product options first. Seems OK. On mobile device only button color changes.
I am probably on denial of change and want to keep hold on the good old days.
