In reply to: [WooCommerce] Wocommerce as part of a pay-per-view (PPV) solution?I should specify that I’m not married to any particular e-commerce solution — I just want one that does the trick. WooCommerce seemed to be well-viewed, and I would also be able to sell physical product (DVDs and books and such) using it.
I’m also willing to pay for a solution. I recognize that free plug-ins are limited. I don’t mind paying for a solution that works.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Wocommerce as part of a pay-per-view (PPV) solution?Ideally, a solution would allow various purchasing options, such as :
- Watch a specific movie any time you like over the next x days (a “rental” of a single title).
- Watch a specific movie any time you like as long as it’s posted (a “buying” of a specific title).
- Watch any movies we have any time you like over the next x days (a “rental pass” into our catalog, good for x days).
- Watch any of our movies for as long as the site exists (a lifetime membership to our video catalog).

In reply to: Choose-Your-Own-Adventure section of WP site“You can add pages to WordPress sites without adding them to the menu.”
That would be my last resort. Adding 180 pages might be… onerous.
“Why not think of the ‘choose your own adventure’ as a sort of survey or questionnaire with branching logic?”
Ahhhh, that is a very clever way to do it. I must review those plug-ins…
“There are many survey, polling and questionnaire plug-ins for WordPress. Doing things this way would allow you to collect information about the choices that visitors make, which may be useful to you.”
The game itself is just a goof-around, but I’m intrigued by this. Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce with streaming videoI am also interested in exactly this functionality.
Did you find a solution?

In reply to: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen()Dang! That got me thinking.
I deactivated the e-commerce plug-in and tried to edit the CSS. Worked great.
Reactivated the e-commerce plug-in.
Tried again. Fail condition.
So this much I know — the problem is probably in the e-commerce module (or at least manifests there).
I CAN change my CSS, but I have to temporarily bring the e-commerce plug-in down.
It’s hacky, but I’m back in business at least.

In reply to: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen()Sorry — I forgot to add that bit.
I’m using WordPress 3.5.1.
I check for updates to WP and to all plug-ins roughly twice a day.
