Thanks slabbi, I just spent a long time trying to get a boilerplate extension installed and recognised.
The documentation should be more explicit – a hand held walk through of where the code can be placed whould be great. To me, the current documentation implies it can be loaded into the active theme OR into the plug in area.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] NO RESTORE OPTION??I’ve just rebuilt my site based on files generated by BackWPup.
I feel your one star is unjustified, sorry
I have a similar problem – I get the notice, but checking through phpmyAdmin there is no user id 1, and there is no Admin user.
Note: I recently migrated to a new host, importing the all data (including user data)
Thanks for fixing that
OK … email sent
Thanks

In reply to: [Event Organiser] Short codesShort codes inside eo_events loop are broken – this seems to be a recent problem, possibly introduced with an upgrade.
NextGen Custom Fields plugin stopped working in templates
My custom fields still work in gallery management, but seem to have disappeared in my (custom) templates since upgrading NGG to v 2.00
Specifically,
$image->ngg_custom_fields[$field_name];
does not return a value for display. testing with strlen (e.gstrlen($image->ngg_custom_fields["Media"])
) returns a length of 0 (zero)Forum: Plugins

Had a look at the browser consol …
The problem is, as you suggest linked to javascript – more specifically to an optimization plugin that compresses javascript, so, not really your problem.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Fast Cache] Does WP Cache support different browsersThanks – I’ll keep an eye on your developments just in case
Just received an e-mail from my site:
Unfortunately, an error occurred while creating the minify cache. Please check your settings to ensure your site is working as intended.
Thanks for using W3 Total Cache.
—Due to my Minify issues, Minify is was been disabled when I posted my message above … so I should not have received the e-mail
I’m getting similar errors using 0.9.2.11
If minify is set to auto, I receive a file length message and a recommendation to shorten the length of my file names. If set to manual, files are not found. The latest message is:
“Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: File “path_to_wordpress/wp-content/themes/art/js/weaverjslib.min.js” doesn’t exist.”My art theme is a child theme of Weaver II, and and the ‘missing’ file resides on the parent theme’s path
You’ll have to have a login page, even if it’s your.url/login, and that’s guessable.
The thing you’ve done right is either make the admin password obscure, or, better, removed the admin user.
