I’m not updating any of my other sites until they roll this back.

Make it optional, or add it as a module to JetPack. But please don’t mess up several years of posts because the default smileys are gone. This is a feature i don’t need or want.

The old saying “fix something that’s not broken” comes to mind here!

Have the smiley short-codes changed with 4.2? I went to CloudFlare and dumped my cache and still have distorted off color smileys or no smileys at all.

On my blogs home page these two winks used to be yellow. Now the shape and color has changed.

Don’t make sense to change something that will alter or break previous inserted smilies via shortcode ?? ?? etc.

I have been using smilie shortcuts for years in posts. ?? etc. Now after 4,2 they are different and some do not display at all in Google Chrome. I get big black x.

I assume this is because of this new emoji support. I have enough plugins now, would rather not add another.

Thanks apocalypseboy.com, Tried the snippets on my blog but no change. I run under CloudFlare so the new smilies might be cached in. Will fiddle with it tomorrow.

I agree with Semrocc. Make it an option. Or better yet add it to JetPack.

Just updated and my smiles are all messed up. In Google chrome wink is displayed as a black x.

Getting a post url not found in Google structured data tool.

Toggling on link current item makes the current page or post in the breadcrumb trail active, but brings up a slew of other errors.

From what i gather Google is now requiring post urls to be active in bread crumbs. This is what i am seeing. https://www.docsnetservices.com/breadcrumb-error1.jpg

Go in with your file manager or FTP and delete the plugin. Replace with older version if available. Should be fine with no data loss.

I agree that’s a needed option. Guess we will have to wait until G+ opens an API for WordPress to connect to.

In the meantime you can set up a free account at https://www.hootsuite.com and add your G+ account. Then use their publisher feature to grab your feed and publish it on G+. Works fine for me, with the exception that posts without a default featured image will not have a thumbnail, and a gravatar only works through publisher.

Your feed is at your blog address /feed/ or if you only want to feed a certain category, that works too, just add /feed/ after a category.

Alex, got a warning from Facebook: Your app, FidoSysop’s Comments, needs to be updated for the February 2013 Breaking Changes. Once your app is compliant, set the migration setting to “Enabled” in the Advanced section of the App Dashboard.

Not sure what that means. Also i tried to moderate a blog comment yesterday but Facebook kept asking me to log in repeatedly.

CDN on or off makes no difference here. I’m not using any cache either. Last recorded stats were at 03:30 EST.

I have my installation of FWP exposed to filters. Sometimes i want to quickly edit a syndicated post to add another link or a video, etc. So the visual editor is best for me. Another member said temporary disabling FWP will bring the visual tab back but i have not tried it yet, but it’s an easy toggle if it works.
