In reply to: Losing hamburger menu in mobile modeThanks for your answer. I expected that reply because it is a custom theme but I thought I’d take a chance. Thanks for your time! Alan
Never mind. I found the setting!
Thanks, Steve. I did the old “select the column of checkboxes and bulk delete” method. It took a couple minutes but did the job. The tools method looks easier. I hope I won’t have to do this again, but I’ll use that method next time. I also learned that importing the same data again doesn’t override the previous identical data; it just duplicates the entries. Lesson learned!
I just bulk deleted all the entries, deleted unnecessary columns from the CSV file, and renamed the good columns to match the Import CSV names. Ran the import, and all is well. If there was an easier way, please let us know. I’m still feeling my way around!
I received notice (and know by personal experience) that it was not fixed but should be in 2.0, with no estimated release time. I hope this time it works! The clients are muddling along but we all want to make the best impression with their site and our work.
Hey Kris,
That’s great! Looking forward to it. This will help a lot of people!
Alan
Thanks again, Kris. Just wanted be sure of all the facts so I can go back to our client with confidence in our explanation.
Take care,
AlanHi Kris,
Thanks for the quick reply. My original post in WPMU DEV Support is titled, FORMINATOR ACCESSIBILITY PROBLEM WITH SCREEN READER, with the most recent reply dated yesterday. Unfortunately, now when I try to access it, it’s locked. At any rate, it seems the bottom line is that the problem is with Forminator Pro, correct? It is our standard for forms, but we will try another plugin for this particular application.
Thanks for stepping in, Kris. Have a pleasant day. Alan
Hi Kasia,
That should have been obvious! That fixed that problem.
Thanks very much,
Alan
Just FYI: I added back the Country field and the redirect worked. No explanation. Probably deleting the fields one-at-a-time would have saved a lot of trouble! I hope others can learn from this.
Thanks again!
I think we found the problem. The Address field #4 used the Forminator address field with the Country option that provides a prefilled drop-down list of countries. I deleted that field and replaced it with a text field, and now the redirect works. Thank you for your help and work! Not sure why the field failed, but perhaps you have some insight for the future and for other users.
OK, I made the clone. Here is the link to the home page: https://pinetreeguidedogusers.org/pine-tree-clone/
Just to clarify:
https://pinetreeguidedogusers.org/pine-tree-clone/?page_id=1109
Pine Tree Guide Dog Users Registration
This is the page that should redirect to Pine Tree Guide Dog Users Payments, but it doesn’t work.https://pinetreeguidedogusers.org/pine-tree-clone/?page_id=1143
Pine Tree Guide Dog Users Payments
This is the page to which the Registration page should redirect. The only field is the PayPal field.https://pinetreeguidedogusers.org/pine-tree-clone/?page_id=1150
Redirect Test Page
This is just a test page with one field. I set it up to test the redirect function, and it works. This is only a test page that will be removed when the site is ready.Hope this helps! Thank you!
AlanHello Patrick,
Thank you for your quick and helpful reply. I will follow your instructions as soon as I can and we can go from there.
Hopefully,
AlanSolved! The primary issue was a lapsed Themeisle account. Was able to update Hestia Pro theme and access the dashboard and remedy the missing label problem with CSS. Still can’t use Elementor but that’s for later. Case closed.
