In reply to: Help WantedOne more thing: I just went back and deleted the first entry where I started getting italics, then reposted the content from scratch. It did the same thing again, though. Totally frustrating. I can’t figure out what is going on!
BTW, in the previous post, I meant “Exactly what I needed!!” rather than “Exactly what I needed?”
In other words, I really appreciate your help here!

In reply to: Help WantedWow, thanks for your message. I started with the second comment – that is perfectly clear, and I took it down to 4 entries. Exactly what I needed?
With regard to the first entry, I don’t know what is going on. I went to html and couldn’t find the <span />s thing. I found the <em /> thing, but tried deleting it and it keeps reappearing. I don’t think that we messed with the code in the single post area, but we might have. I looked at that code, and it looked really messed up. Part of what I don’t understand is why it would impact some of the entries, but not all of them. Any suggestions?
One other thing: I checked out your blog – really terrific! Is there a way to implement the “read more” link on my entries the way you did? It’s really cool!

In reply to: Help WantedThanks for your support! Here are a couple of the specific problems…
1. For some reason, some of the entries on the ‘main pages’ have become italicized. Here’s an example: https://shifts.saintmatthew.org/index.php?paged=2 If you click the header and see the individual entry, it looks fine. I looked at the html for the entry, and it looked fine to me – but I am a real novice at this stuff. I also checked the CSS, but couldn’t see where something was wrong. Any suggestions?
2. All of a sudden, the main pages started paginating themselves. For a long time, it was just one long blog with loads on entries on one page. Is the pagination automatic? Does it start at a certain number of entries? Can it be turned on or off?
Any help or direction you could provide would be greatly appreciated!
Best, Dean
