Very much +1 on this. It takes a 0.5s query and turns it into a 20s one on the admin interfaces fro zero reason.

Try downgrading to 1.1 — Just did that and it worked for me ??

I’m having the same problem. It’s that the site-wide settings are not saving, not that a particular video will not embed.
