OK, in my case it was because 1) I did not export plugins (export stalled when I tried) and 2) I forgot to install the same plugins on the other side

I am interested in this as well, especially cause I paid for the plugin unlimited enhancement.

I have the same issue, except a 406 error

They can if they have admin or editor privileges, but its all or nothing, i.e. they can edit everything or nothing.

Only Admin’s and Editors can update (basically following pattern of who can create posts). There should be an edit button at bottom of each page, as well as an ‘Add Individual’ under Tools->Rootspersona

Personally I always assign maiden name as a female’s surname.

On the options screen select ‘system of record’. This activates the add screen

I am not sure I understand the first question.

As for the second, Under Options->Rootspersona is a flag for ‘System of Record’. This means ‘the system that controls the data’. If Rootspersona is the SOR, then you can edit data online.

Yes you can add people manually from the admin screen
