I run two websites on a multisite instance using the plugin and have no issues. Are you using the most current version of wordPress and Rootspersona?

I run Rootspersona on 7.2 Make sure you are on the latest version of the plugin.

Is this still an issue? Are you using the latest version? I do not have this issue.

To link images you have to upload them into the Media library yourself. Then on the bottom of each persona page you should see an Edit Person button. The resulting page is where you link the images.

You also have more control if you choose to edit the WordPress page for each person directly and add images there.

If I understand your question, it is only possible in GEDCOM right now

_RUFNAM is a custom GEDCOM field (note the underscore _ ). Currently the plugin does not support display of custom fields

Some of the fields are displayed from the database and these fields are not translated. Some rework will be required.

1) the image has t already been in WordPress (your media library)
2) at the bottom of each person page there is an edit Person button – click it
3) atethe bottom of the edit Person screen there should be a row of silohouttes – click one to replace it with one of your images.

You can turn on System of Record (SOR) mode, which allows you to enter your data manually.

I started revamping the site this week, and I have to reinstall the latest copy of the plugin, which is why it looks that way.

Hmm, somewhere between 3.6.2 and 3.6.3 they got dropped. I’ll try to push out a patch later this week to add the missing files.

what version are you on? The most recent versions addressed this issue.

Rootspersona looks for:

DB_HOST
DB_USER
DB_PASSWORD
DB_NAME

define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘localhost:3306’);

Rootspersona creates it own connection to the DB so as not to intefer with the one WP uses for itself.

I suspect something wrong with your configuration.

Rootspersona uses the WordPress values for:

DB_HOST
DB_USER
DB_PASSWORD
DB_NAME
