thanks. seems to be a theme problem. That health check plugin is handy. Ugh, now to figure out what theme will get things looking the way I want again. Seems like every time WP has a major change, whatever theme I’ve been liking and using stops being supported and conflicts with something in the new version of WP.

In my case, I NEEDED to send the notifications to someone else with a different e-mail address. Giving the person an e-mail address on the website’s domain was stupid for my situation. I simply needed to send the message to a specific address.

I still use Easy Forms on a different website perfectly fine.

yeah, I figured it out. I dumped this plugin and built the form I needed with Jotforms. Worked tons better. Do yourself a favor, do the same. The free account from Jotforms could do all I needed it to do.

My site has a similar problem.

This post is the most recent one with double titles.

All earlier ones have doubles. All newer posts have correct single titles. I have tried to edit manually, but the title shows up correctly in all places of my dashboard.

I found a suggestion on this site to check the archive.php and single.php files for specific lines of code. I am using atahualpa as my theme and do not have those files in that theme’s directory. Doing a site search only turns up those files in the twentyten theme directory and the default directory. The relevant code does not occur in the files in the default directory.

I wouldn’t doubt that there’s a code problem somewhere, since I’ve already had to fix one code problem caused by a theme update to one of my widgets. But I wouldn’t know where to begin to find said problem.
