In reply to: Block spam emails from my wordpress installationYeah, that was the first place I asked and they didn’t have a solution for it. They didn’t know of any plugin that would do it either. But they suggested switching my contact forwarding address from my default home email to a Gmail address. I’ve read about it now and it looks like it should work by using advanced filters. Thanks.

In reply to: Block spam emails from my wordpress installationThanks, it looks like a lot of these are for blocking comments. Can you suggest two or three that will either block emails or before they become emails?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact Form 7, Contact > Contact form 1It’s taken me a long time to figure this out, but I understand it now. The contact form is actually part of the theme! Thanks a lot for your time.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact Form 7, Contact > Contact form 1“Where on the site do you have the form having the issue?” On the contact page.
After being told that I’ve successfully sent a message from the contact page, the URL reads like this: https://editthiscopy.com/contact/#contact-form-3593
In the dashboard, I get the message: ‘Validate Contact Form 7 Configuration’, but when I click on it, I get ‘Validate 0 contact forms now’.
Clicking the validation request seems to have gotten rid of my original question. No more red number 1!
But the two messages I sent from two sites say that they came from one site!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Steps to set up WooCommerce for the first timeThanks, Phil, I’ve got the most important stuff figured out now, and my image is in the correct place.
I seem to have the phrase “Related products” there by default since I didn’t write it. I notice your image doesn’t have it. I wouldn’t mind it if it were closer to the other 2 choices, but I could do without it too..

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Steps to set up WooCommerce for the first timeSince I’ll always use my own image, what would happen if I delete the placeholder from the image library?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Steps to set up WooCommerce for the first timeThis helps a lot. Again!
I want my product page to look like your Image Link: https://d.pr/i/8MoPuA.
However, it looks mostly like your Image Link: https://d.pr/i/4PrVNa with the placeholder on the left, except my image is added on the right, in the middle between the price and the Add to cart button.
Each product page has two areas to add an image and text, the top and the bottom, separated by the Product data section in the middle. I can’t tell from your Image Link: https://d.pr/i/dZeVJR whether you added your image in the top area under the page title or in the bottom area under the Product short description. Where should it be?
And after more work, I agree that the payment error is a function of the payment gateway.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Steps to set up WooCommerce for the first timeThanks again, Phil.
‘Hopefully’ my last two questions… if I delete the placeholder image from the product page, will the image I’ve added go automatically into the left side of the product page where the placeholder was? With the placeholder still there now, when I add my image to the top text area of the product page right under the title, my image gets placed below the placeholder. When I add it to the bottom text area, in the box called product short description, it gets placed on the right where the text is.
And when someone tried ordering from my site using his phone, he got the following error on the checkout page. Do you know what/where that might have been, and how to fix it?
“Payment error: Parameter cannot be empty:app_id”
