My sneaking suspicion is that is has to do with the image size or dimensions. PHP upload limit is 8mb but images 3mb or less seem to mostly be ok.
I just started having the problem today, perhaps after updating some plugins.

Also thanks for the tip on blocking a range of IPs via the Whois Lookup. Very helpful.
*facepalm*
Thanks for correcting my error. Clearly my days troubleshooting network issues is FAR from my mind!
No problem, the response is much appreciated.

Thank you! The new field for featured image is working great, btw, thanks for that as well.

Thanks, will check it out.
Ha – I appreciate the candor. Not willing to try it but thanks for replying ??
It seems to work only if the featured image is a new upload. Selecting an image from the media library does not work. Is this a bug?
I had this problem too until I checked the box in Settings -> Media to ‘Display all your gallery pictures in a cool mosaic’. After checking that, the error went away and I could choose the type of gallery when editing a gallery.
You’d have to do set that up manually, once the pages are imported.

I am using InfiniteWP on my new host, sorry for not mentioning it before. This is definitely not an issue specific to InfiniteWP.
I’m on a different host now, I assume the old host had been compromised.
No – that’s regarding embeds through the WordPress editor. That has nothing to do with whether the embeds are responsive or not.
I still don’t see anything in Settings->Media. I’m going to have to find a new plugin.
