I figured out the same thing yesterday. This is a solid workaround, unless there are a LOT of users to edit.

Sorry, what I meant was what is the content of the Admin Request email? I’m not sure I want to disable it if it’s the one that tells the admin that an account is waiting for approval/disapproval.

Thanks for sharing Jonathan! After switching to Cloudflare Activitypub stopped working but your redirects did the trick.

I finally picked this up again and it turns out that the sharing works fine if no delay is used. Now to head over to the thread about the delay not working…

That’s fair, I bumped it to 3 stars and most of that is for the professional response from Melapress. I’d say that most WP users aren’t IT professionals and wouldn’t come close to figuring out what the source of the issue would be. I don’t know if I need this plugin moving forward, but I did agree to test a build in the future to help them out.

I was getting 504 errors so I couldn’t even load the site, front end or back end. I would reboot my VPS (SpinupWP & DigitalOcean) and the site would be fine for a few minutes and then crash again. Debug.log showed a RedisException and your plugin was mentioned, along with Ninja Forms. Removing your plugin made my site work like normal again ?????♂?

Is there a private way I can send you the relevant entry from debug.log?

Or ‘generate’ it by hand…

Did you remove the style tag at the end too?

fwiw, I ended up not using critical css because it introduced a big layout shift that wasn’t there before.

Turns out Sitelocity encloses their css in <style> tags – that was the problem!

Your suggestions are much appreciated, I’ll follow up on them over the weekend (except for the delay, which I’ll disable now & test).

Cloudflare is not being used for anything except protecting my login url, my cache is handled by my server (SpinupWP). I also found a blog post today about ActivityPub & SpinupWP’s cache but I’m not sure that affects your plugin.

I just figured the problem out – there must have been an expiration set at some point (currently the Settings field is blank). So publishing the jobs again fixed the URL.

In Troubleshooting mode using Twenty Twenty-Three, the URLs were still plain and not human readable.
