Allow/Disallow comments on specific page:
– To disable/able comments on future Pages/Posts, uncheck/check “Allow people to post comments on new articles” in Settings -> Discussion. Then where you create/edit posts or pages in admin, check if you have ticked comments for your posts/pages in the “discussion” box below the editor. If you don’t see the “discussion” box there, in the ‘screen option’ dropdown field (located near the top right), there are tickboxes to show the ‘discussion’ box for the posts/pages. Tick mark it. In the ‘discussion’ box below the post/page editor, you can then allow/disallow comments for the page.

Not using a plugin just the standard reply box generated by Word Press. I thought of trying a reply box plugin, but haven’t acted upon it yet. I’m just trying to get everything organized and thought it would be great to get rid of the text just above the “post comment” button. Guys, I just thought of another question, is there a code that will disable the related videos that shows at the end of a YouTube video? I tried adding “$rel=0” to the YouTube share id and it shows the video frame but not the video. My goal is to have only the video I have chosen pop up for viewing and not the related content…

Any thoughts on this?

I’m wondering how to have fancybox play a video via an image. In other words, I would like to have a jpg/png image in a post/page and when the visitor clicks on the image, voila the video begins to play.

Any thoughts?
