}

display:none;

with this line no more space go a way or white en gray

i think to use aws api you must use the same adress email used for associates accounts usa & uk in order to works for you
if you have a different emails just try to change one of them

works great by me no problems so i want to say clear your cache first ,second try to change your theme to twentyten for example , deactivate your plugins one by one and try each time to see if the problem is related some pluging that interfere with Amazon Associates Link Builder
