Both PayPal Checkout and PayPal Credit Card Payments (deprecated) have been officially deprecated by PayPal. I’m curious why there hasn’t been an upgrade to PayPal Checkout, which is their latest and most advanced payment solution. This method offers Smart Payment Buttons along with several other enhanced functionalities that would improve the overall user experience and operational efficiency.

Regarding the IPN notification error, our plugin no longer requires IPN functionality, so you can safely disregard this error.

This error is coming from PayPal due to invalid card payment details. Please ensure you’re using the correct billing information and card details that match the credit card. It would be helpful to test this card with another online payment service to confirm that it’s working properly without any issues.

It looks like you’re seeing this message because the PayPal Sandbox is rejecting the card before all necessary information, like the billing address, has been added. Please make sure to complete the billing address details first, then try using the card again. If the issue continues, it could be related to the card type or settings in the sandbox environment. Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance.

Also have you try latest version of the plugin? your previous support ticket has been resolved.

We’ve identified the issue: the product name “Boppy pillow Toddler Walking Head Protection Pillow Backpack, Cartoon Turtle Plush Toy Cushion, Infant Fall Prevention Safety Harness Pillow, Chinese-Made Polyester Fiber, Suitable for 0-3 Years Old” is too long for the PayPal checkout process. We are working on resolving this right away. Please allow us a few minutes, and thank you for your patience.
