I am also having the same issues with a site on Siteground.
Just posting a comment so I can see updates on this page.
Second this comment. I’ve had the same issue
Ah, yes I do as it happens!
thx
Sadly (as far as I can tell) Google doesn’t support the old tagging system for new properties, which is where my, and I’m sure many other longtime users of the All In One SEO plugin, issue lies. (Unless anyone knows of a workaround for Google? I have to admit the big changes just got me totally flummoxed!)
However good the MonsterInsights plugin is, I’m not keen on just filling up the backend with multiple plugins – I’m pretty bad for it already! And I’m not sold on adding all that analytic functionality into the site admin area. I’d rather keep it separate.
thx
That’s a good question. I’d like to know the answer to that too.
I have a fulltime job that isn’t to do with IT or hosting. I simply do not have time to go through this troubleshooting process to find what that conflict, nor can I risk the site being effectively offline for that long.
However, I’ve gone back to the previous version and all is good again. That’s not a conflict with another plugin, that’s something WRONG with this new version.

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] CPU UsageThanks. I saw that too! ?? So there WAS an issue with the plugin that (once again) has not been acknowledged here by the developers, while discussions go on about using other plugins for the job.
Way to go winning users over to buy the pro version. Not.

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] CPU UsageNo response from the developers here. Though you should be able to get support to respond, I would say there’s no guarantee that the ‘pro’ version will not have the same issue.

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] CPU UsageHowever, I should add that spikes seem to relate to updates every time. And yes, I am clicking the ‘visitors’ option off and on every time it updates to makes sure it’s set correctly.

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] CPU UsageThis is still an issue. I am seeing a direct correlation between the Mailpoet plugin and CPU usage. To be more plain, when I see CPU usage spiralling up on my hosting, deactivating the plugin reduces that immediately and significantly from over 3000 (in their figures) to a few hundred.
I’m wondering if the plugin cannot differentiae robot traffic, and therefore is hooking into visits that aren’t real humans?

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] CPU UsageAs per my original post, the option is (and always has been!) set to “Visitors to your website”. And as I said, I even tried setting it to the MP task scheduler and back to “Visitors”, but this made no difference.
So that’s not it – unless the option isn’t working in the latest version of the plugin?

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] CPU UsageHmmm, I’m on Siteground too. I wonder if something in the last update upset something?
I’ve had to deactivate the plugin for now. I use the signup in several places so it’s not a click!
My CPU has gone from 12000 to 2500 since deactivating.
I don’t know why I should be ‘careful with my statements’. If your plugin does not keep the settings, how is that my fault?

In reply to: [Mailgun Email Validator] Extremely high volume of validations on low useageNope, it’s not a WooCommerce site.
I don’t really want to set a limit, that rather negates the purpose of using your plugin
I agree with you @ipstenu, except FYI I’ve actually disabled WP Cron and have created a cron job in admin.
