In reply to: Twenty Twelve: Changing MarginsHi Andrew, thanks for that the original marin rem is below, it doesn’t exactly equate with what was said in the article. It looks ok in browsers (haven’t tried IE yet though), thanks, Earl

In reply to: [Arconix Shortcodes] Adding Custom Css?I’m a code ‘tweaker’, a newbie with a brain, but not much time on his hands, it’s a one off job (my first), so I think I may try another route (i.e. a pay for a plugin), but sincere thanks for your help, Earl

In reply to: [Arconix Shortcodes] Adding Custom Css?Hi John, thanks for that, I was looking for a button that when clicked opens a dialog box on the page (much like a small over/lightbox) and inside the box is telephone number, and a mailto: link), so it’s not really a contact form, just an overlay/text box, triggered by button click, does that make sense?, Earl
– there’s one on this page – https://surfacedeals.co.uk/commercial/railings/ – but because the plugin doesn’t work in 3.5.1 the dialog box automatically opens on page load (the author has gone awol)Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [WordPress Shortcodes] Adding Custom Css?Hi, I’ve found the box in the shortode options to add css code, and have found where to add the class on the shortcode editor. But I haven’t found where to define a custom.css url – am I looking in the right place?
Clutching at straws I uploaded a zipped file custom.css file as extra-presets file, but when use the preset search in the shortcode editor there are no results, any help on this much appreciated,
Thanks Earl

In reply to: [Twitter Bootstrap for WordPress] Adding Custom Css?Hi Paul,
Thanks for that. Yes I really need tabs, so I’ll either have to search for another WP plugin, or do a non WP site. I think using an older plugin may cause future problems,
Thanks very much for your help,
Earl

In reply to: Plugin Longevity and WP UpdatesHi Pothi Kalimuthu, thanks very much for your advice, a friend said the same thing about security, will try and find an alternate jquery plugin for creating tabs. Yes, even though the site will be a niche/low hits site it might be attacked as the hacks are automated. Thanks again Gareth
