Thanks Jose, I uploaded the missing files by ftp and they are showing on the server, but not live. Am guessing that as you say I need to reinstall manually (it was installed previously by someone else using cpanel app installer – which may be the problem). Thanks for your input, the host support hasn’t replied after two days after submitting ticket! I’ll mark as resolved as I don’t think this is a wordpress problem, thanks again, Earl

There’s no select template option in the page attributes box for twenty 13/14 though, so how would I allocate a custom template to a new page?

Really speaking, (and apologies if this is another thread) I want to use 20/12 as I’m so familiar with it (creating/adding templates, custom sidebars etc, but I prefer the way the top navigation changes in the two later themes for mobile (I don’t like the silver/grey button with 20/11)- would it be possible to copy css from 20/13 navigation div into my 20/12 child theme css, so I have the smarter mobile menu in my 20/12 theme? Hi Esmi, thanks for that, I tried several options from the codex, i.e. uploading fresh login.php, and checking various things. I have now received a password reset email, and WP appears to accept it, but all I get is a blank page (wp-login.php) with no error message. I think the system is not redirecting correctly? (By the way, my homepage does exist, so this is not a ‘WP hasn’t been installed problem’).

I’m wondering if maybe a fresh complete reinstall of wordpress is required? I have my back-up of the site from last week). Any advice is much appreciated, thanks Earl
