  • OK, I went to lunch, came back and once again the widgets are not editable. I did find a work-around. I am using IE6 and when I right-click on the widget’s [Edit] button and [Open in New Window] it opens the widget for editing.

I think this will do it for me with this issue. Not a good resolution but certainly a work-around.

One more time–I encountered the problem once again. I rebooted and was then able to edit. But, after working a bit the problem returned-quite frustrating as I don’t want to keep rebooting. So, that really isn’t a solution at all.

On revisiting some of the forums it was suggested to upgrade Java script. I did that and the widgets came to life. I hope this is a solid fix.

I found at another forum that it was a matter of rebooting the computer. I did that and now I am able to edit the widgets as expected.

Did you ever resolve this problem? I just now encountered the exact same issue. I’m using Explorer and the widget buttons won’t open to make edits. In Firefox they will. Please advise if you have found a solution.

    Thanks.

13lue, I checked your blog at nflbeast.com and the theme is working. How was this fixed?

We recently upgraded our blogs (big school district with over 100 blogs affected). The Mandigo theme appears to be missing a style sheet or something. See https://cit.nisd.net/wbrake/ for an example.

    Any help would be appreciated.
