The free version of this plugin does not support WP Gallery (that is what you have on the test page https://www.gusenpeople.com/test/2018/02/10/test/). You need to go to Page Edit screen and use the LightBox metabox to generate gallery.

Yes the plugin does support image captions.

Abby,

MetaBox is the core functionality of this plugin which enables users to add LightGallery to their content using simple ShortCode, thus cannot be removed.

However, you can hook to WP Admin page and hide the MetaBox using its class name and outputting your custom CSS.

1. Currently there is no way to use different thumbnail for gallery but we have taken this feature request in consideration for future release.

2. We have a similar functionality in our premium plugin which uses JustifiedGallery.
