Yes, similarly to caordawebsol I’m seeing how frequently SolSec is running Site Scanner; in one example, over the past few weeks all the errors are rate_limit_exceeded (I’m thinking this is a separate matter from this thread’s ‘not found’ error), intermixed with ‘site clean’ results. If this is normal, I’d only wonder how much overhead the scans incur.
Again, this seems to happen independently of the ‘not found’ errors on this an other websites I administer, though most sites are exhibiting a mix of these errors. Perhaps both are essentially unactionable and inconsequential (save for the transients solution, which I’m trying to comprehend and test).
Thank you for your ongoing attention to this.
I should have mentioned I’m running Solid Security 9.3.1 (on 23 websites!), most running WordPress 6.4.3
Same, following for info.
Hi, issue seems to persist in 1.15.11
Sometimes just asking a question leads me to a solution, or in this case coincides with the issue disappearing. Not that I feel great about that, because now I don’t know what was going wrong yesterday. But if you’ve seen this happen before, I’d love to know what it might be indicating. Otherwise, this thread is essentially resolved. :-S
Hi, this issue (line breaks in form user text area not being preserved in notification email) seems to have returned in Forminator v1.15.7 (WordPress v5.8.2).
[Copied from another thread]
OK yes it still appears to exhibit this behaviour. It could still cause trouble for some users if they don’t know to remove that space character.
Creating a new form, editing the Email Notifications > Advanced, choosing the form’s email field:

Forminator Version 1.15.2
Wordpress Version 5.8.1N.B. I’m also using WP Mail SMTP Version 3.0.3 to control mail sending, on this site.
Hi, I’m running Forminator 1.15.2 under WordPress 5.8 and it appears to do this, still, inserting that space character before the form field variable.
I tried creating a new form using Forminator’s ‘Contact’ template, then added the email form field to the reply-to field in Email Notifications, and the space is there. I exported this form for you:

Okay so I might have found a workaround: building the notification email field by field, instead of using {all_fields}, appears to preserve line breaks. If that helps.
Update: I found the other thread re. leading space in reply-to field, that fixed it for me. So it seems that using the + button to put a form field (i.e. sender email address) in the reply-to field may have a space character before the placeholder, and removing the space may fix problems.
On this topic: how can I troubleshoot this when I do have the form user’s email in the reply-to field for the form, but that email header doesn’t seem to come through on the receiving end? Any tips would be appreciated.
Yes, not a worry. So happens we’ve had a drop in form submissions so I haven’t had a recurrence. I’ll let you know if it does recur, what the user agent shows as. But for now let’s call this as solved as it can be.
