]]>I have a wordpress site that I’ll call “example1.com”. It uses the wp-piwik plugin.
My piwik installation is located at:
piwik.example1.com
…The plugin seems to be working fine and I was able to see the stats via the piwik GUI.
Then I decided to add another domain (example2.com). I added the wp-piwik plugin there and adjusted the settings (using the same identical “Auth Token”) and the “Determined site” shows “example2.com” but when I do a “view page source” on a page at example2.com, I see it pointing to piwik.example1.com.
Then I went to the piwik GUI and added the new domain in the settings. But:
1. If I try to view the piwik stats in the wordpress dashboard of example2.com, the “WP-Piwik Overview” stats there show the exact same numbers as the ones that show over at example1.com.
2. If I go to the Dashboard of the Piwik GUI and try to get the stats for example2.com, I get the “No Data has been recorded yet” page.
Can you help me understand what’s wrong?
]]>I am very new to this and not tech savvy, so I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question.
I had one blog that worked well. I then bought a second domain, downloaded WP to that domain and started another blog. I now can no longer login to the first blog. When I type in the admin URL for the first blog, it automatically reroutes to the admin URL for the second blog.
I want to keep both blogs separate, with separate logins. How can I do this?
Thank you.

]]>I have two websites running in one host, first one, lets call it Main.com,and second one Second.com which its files are under public_html/second/ . I have added an Addon domain in cpanel of my host to public_html/second/. the second site is running and working fine. the problem is I cannot login to second site using following addresses:
https://second.com/wp-admin/
nor
https://Main.com/second/wp-admin/
two above addresses doesn’t give me an error(e.g 404). just a blank white page comes up. do have any idea?
]]>i have 2 domain pointing to the same wordpress blog. MLPTOYS.com show the video galleries no problem, the 2nd domain PAGETURNERSPAGE.com tries to load the video galleries but doesn’t succeed.
When I try to look at the video gallery in the admin level both theme and gallery can be seen and tweaked under the mlptoys.com/wp-admin but not under pageturnerspage.com/wp-admin even though both admin pages point to the same directory on my server.
Any way I could get the video galleries to show up under both domains (again both pointing to the same folder)?

]]>I built a website for a client under her .de domain and used SEO Yoast plugin to generate the Meta Descriptions. She has also a second new .com domain that should just go directly to the already existing WP installation under .de.
I thought I could link both domains on the hosting provider panel to the same folders, and solved the problem, but now I realized that this creates a conflict with SEO settings.
Do I need to use a Multi-URL plugin? (I would prefer not to). I also read is possible to modify the .htaccess file, but that didnt work well, I might have missed something.
Can someone help me find a good solution to this? Any good recommendations?
Thank you in advance!
]]>example.com
and another website at example.com/site2
.
I have another domain I’d like to point at that second website. I want it to be set up so that if you you go to site2.com
that it goes to example.com/site2
, but you see site2.com
in the address bar. And subpages of that site should look like this: site2.com/some-page
.
I’ve seen tools like WordPress MU Domain Mapping, but It would be ideal for me to do this without WordPress Multisite since I’m in a time crunch right now, and I’ve never used Multisite and it would be a bit of work to learn it, split up the sites, etc.
The reason I nested these sites is so that they could share a store plugin, so separate installs won’t work either.
