That’s really weird. I went to your site in my browser (Firefox) and the pop-up (blue striped border) showed up pretty much immedately (after ~2 seconds).

After dismissing it, a cookie named boxzilla_box_4775 was set. Once I deleted that cookie and then re-loaded the page, the box showed up again after 2 seconds.

So at least to me, it looks like everything is working as expected? Are you sure you’re not testing from a browser that already has that cookie set?

I took a look at your site and it seems that your site is behind multiple layers of caching (CloudFlare + something on the GoDaddy server). I think something is going wrong there, but I’m not sure if it’s due to your specific caching configuration or if it’s something we can prevent from within the plugin. I’ll take a closer look later today, but I just wanted to let you know that we’re on it.

That’s an interesting idea and in theory definitely possible, but quite difficult because there isn’t a single standard log format.

So there isn’t a way to do this right now, but I’m definitely interest to spend some time on this although it will probably take some time before anything is usable. What log format are you referring to specifically? A small sample would also work.

Definitely not – you pointed me to a definite bug in the plugin which went undetected for a while since it’s only occurring if not using the cookie option. It’ll be fixed in the next plugin release!

We’ve added this feature to Koko Analytics Pro. Attached is an image of what it looks like. If you’re coming from JetPack Stats, it should look somewhat familiar. ??
