I’m just trying to figure out, in the sidebar widgets plugin, where to insert the string. I know ‘where I want the categories to show up’, but that’s not specific enough. I’d be thrilled just to see them now, but all I see is the categories as they were before all my attempts at beautifying them. I can’t even get them to show ‘rss’ like the others are talking about here.

duongnguyen, I am having the same problem. Works fine in IE, isn’t playable in Firefox. The end result is here if you want to see what I mean:

I dealt with this one for weeks. Not sure if this will help, but I found that most people who create WP templates work from the classic WP (Kubrick) files to create it. Taking functions.php and sidebar.php (that comes with the widgets install) and updating whatever theme you are using with those two files often does the trick.

I know at this point all of my plugins are FUBARed. I can’t even used Akismet for this error. It’s rather stressful…

I know it’s probably because I did not deactivate the plugins before I upgraded, but I’ve attempted another upgrade, deleted the plugins, reinstalled them and am still getting the error.
