    Hugely useful stuff, Jackie McBride. I can’t thank you enough for your priceless input and time, especially during a weekend when I really needed this urgently. Thanks again and have a lovely week ahead!

    Thanks a bunch Jackie! ??

    The error message that appears on the blog page after deactivating the plugins implies the error could be caused by the layerslider plugin.

    /home/essalvpz/public_html/wp-content/themes/essaywritingteam/index.php on line 4″

    I just visited the server and checked out the line 4 of the index.php and this is what it looks like:

    <?php layerslider(1) ?>

    Could there be an issue with this code that requires fixing or I need to delete the layerslider plugin altogether?

    I just installed twentysixteen and under live preview I can see posts displayed on the blog page ?? So was this a theme problem?

    Okay. I have disabled all plugins and now I can see the following error when loading the blog page “Fatal error: Call to undefined function layerslider() in /home/essalvpz/public_html/wp-content/themes/essaywritingteam/index.php on line 4”

    If I switch to another theme, won’t I lose some important settings/info?

    How are things from your end?

    I really appreciate your help Jackie McBride.

    Hi Jackie,

    Thanks for your prompt response. I have already set the home and blog pages as static.

    I have already published several posts. The only problem is the posts don’t show on the blog page but instead the home page content appears on the blog page.

    So what do I need to change?
