Thanks joesell89! I just deactivated all my plugins then re-activated them one by one, and of course it was the LAST one I tested that caused the problem, ugh! The plugin name is Zedity by Zuyoy. Another suspect is Responsive Addons by Cyber Chimps although I’m not sure if I’m using that correctly and it didn’t cause the main problem, but since I activated it I now have a problem seeing my menu choices on the left sidebar in the middle. Hope this helps other people too (deactivate Zedity)! ??

Same thing here – since I updated to WordPress 3.9 I can no longer edit my pages or posts – just shows a blank screen or the entire editing box is gone! I tried re-installing it – same problems!
