Thanks for posting the solution. It helped me as well.

However, on my side, I do not use any shortcodes. Instead, it was the standard author boxes and lines in the theme that got affected.

For example, the author names disappeared from the “published by” line under H1:

Is there a way to fix it in the theme itself rather than in the plugin settings?

I am using Generate Press Premium (v.2.3.2).

I second this feature request.

My problem is that the plugin picks up the headings created by the WP Product Review Lite plugin. Since WP Product Review Lite creates multiple headings, it’s very cumbersome to exclude them by text in each review post.
An ability to exclude by a class would be the ideal solution.

Meanwhile, the competing plugin “Easy Table of Contents” does not have this problem. it does not pull the Review heading ???♀?
(I was planning to switch to your plugin since it’s better in styling and other options but this issue prevented me from the switch ?)

“Product Review snippet” – I meant the HTML code that the plugin generates.
Let me rephrase the first sentence: “After the update to WP 5.5, it’s not possible to use the plugin in a new post where no Product Review code that the plugin generates is present”.

Basically, I can see the plugin setting in the Editor for the posts in which I used the plugin before the update.
In the new posts where I have not used the plugin yet, I do not see it in the Editor.

I use the plugin “Add Categories to Pages.”
Example: https://livingoffcloud.com/smart-banking/

My categories can contain both posts and pages.
When a category is selected in the settings, the plugin seems to show only posts; the pages do not show up on the list ??
I could not find a setting that would control that and include the pages on the list of the displayed entries.
