There’s a firewall here but nothing would stop anything like this surely?

OK, that’s good news in a way. I just need to find out what the hell is going on with my copy of IE9 (and the guy’s sitting opposite me). Grrrrr, there’s always something with IE!!!

Both TwentyTen and TwentyEleven. The front end of TwentyEleven doesn’t even show up in IE9.

IE9 keeps forcing itself into compatibility mode. Is that correct?

I’ve tried debugging myself. All looks pretty normal and the same as firebug.

I can confirm that everything displays as it should in the following browsers:

• Google Chrome
• Firefox
• Internet Exploer 7
• Internet Exploer 8

Just IE 9 i have issues with.

I have done a few fresh installs from scratch. I have tried updating to 3.2 from an old version and also downloaded and installed 3.2 from new. Is there definitely no known issues with 3.2 and IE9??? I really don’t believe it is anything that I have done.

As I mentioned earlier. It is a fresh install with no plugins installed. Only the default themes are installed so it can not be any of those issues.

Every time i try and turn it off I get an error at the bottom of IE9 saying: A problem displaying domainname.co.uk caused Internet Explorer to refresh the page in Compatibility View. Man this is frustrating!

No issues at all in IE8, apart from the fact it tells me to upgrade my browser to IE9 that doesn’t work!!

I have just done a fresh install of 3.2 with 0 plugins installed and it is still doing the same. I have checked on a few machines running IE9 all with the same results.

The strange thing is that the twentyTen theme works on the front end but twentyEleven does not.

When either are active the admin area is still completely screwed.

That works fine for the actual posts but then mucks with my custom post types.

Created a page called “blog” and linked the post page to that.

I would love to make everything https://www.domain.co.uk/blog/2011… but could not find out how to do that. Changing the permalink to /blog/%category% was not an option.
