    Hi,

Okay so that worked up until a point. Since yesterday our page moved over to a different Business Manager, so now I’m going to have to get the right permissions to re-establish the connection to our page. (Previously this wasn’t an issue. The ads connection hasn’t worked for months).

So I’ll have to leave this hanging for at least a few days while I relay with the marketing team. Since I’ve now disconnected, it looks like all data feeding from our pixel is now stopped, so that sucks.

The other thing is that Meta recently disabled the ability to display shop catalogues in our region, so that kinda nerfed the usefulness of this plugin for us. I still at least want the pixel to work though. I might be able to do that with something else like maybe Yoast SEO?

I did chat with Facebook support, and they confirmed that everything was connected correctly on their side. This whole thing might be due to the way I set up the Woo Facebook plugin in the first place years ago.

    Thanks

    Awesome. Thanks ??

I’m clicking that checkbox down there to mark this as resolved.

    Awesome. Done. Thanks.

One last thing. There are other AWS entries in the options table. I’ll paste a list:

    aws_settings
    widget_aws_widget
    aws_plugin_ver
    aws_hide_welcome_notice
    aws_reindex_version

Can you tell me if any of those are left by previous versions? And if they can be removed or taken off autoload?
(aws_hide_welcome_notice is the only one with autoload = off)

Your plugin is the best, by the way ??

I’m currently on 2.86. Updating to 2.88 now.

I have been using AWS for about 6-7 years, so maybe left behind by an old version?

    Just to confirm:
When you say “update to the latest plugin version and safely remove all these options” you mean that mean I can delete the entries safely after updating?

Okay so I figured it out. May as well leave here in case others have the same issue.

The data was not from years ago. It’s just that it tried to import from the beginning, and didn’t get very far.

I checked the orders after the last successful one, updated with more completed details, and then retried sync. It worked until it failed again a few orders later…
At first I thought it was due to incomplete details, like a missing email address or something. After updating several orders, I realised that the details weren’t the problem. I just needed to click update, and it usually worked.

So I’m not sure what that was, really. I ended up continuing through 3004 transactions, updating the one after the last successful one. After a while it had finished the sync. Now it’s just syncing orders as they come in. Yay.
