It’s something with your template that is causing those issues.
That is proven by the fact that it works fine with the standard wp theme.
Please refer to the person who made your website, to fix the css conflicts with your current template, or email us at info AT shambix.com to fix it for you, for a small fee (as it’s not an islidex bug, but rather a custom adjustment)

What you want can be achieved exactly by adding the custom fields islidex_slide and islidex_thumb (thumbs will only work for islidex templates with thumbs obviously).

You add a new custom field to a post, name of field is islidex_slide and value the direct link to the image (like https://www.yoursite.com/something/upload/yourimage.jpg)

Yes it can be used for commercial purposes, and/or extended with your own custom code.
We REQUIRE though, to leave the credits in the islidex.php untouched (add your own if you want, but dont remove ours please.. no one can see it anyway, but it’s nice of you if you leave it).

Do you have wp_header in the header.php of your template AND wp_footer in your footer.php?

You need to use the function (you find it in the Usage instructions in the plugin setup panel), not the shortcode, INSIDE your template code (probably the index.php).
You will still be able to control it through control panel.

About the positioning issues, please share the link where you are facing the problem, and explain in detail.

On which website?
Have you tried with the standard theme first?
If it works with that one, your current template could be interfering with iSlidex and in that case you will need to check in the css file of your theme, what’s making iSlidex Apple theme not visualizing properly.

Nope sorry couldnt make it. We had a huge emergency with some servers and have been working on them madly. I dont have an ETA unfortunately, I just hope its soon.

Please set iSlidex up on a page of your site and link the page here, otherwise I can’t check, as I don’t know polish and duno what Im looking at atm.
However, it sounds like a server setup issue, and not related to iSlidex (as you said too), therefore there’s only so much we can help you with.
In general, if the cache folder inside iSlidex has 777 and still doesnt get populated with images after you load the page with iSlidex on, it’s a server/webserver permission issue that you should talk about with your host.

The Piecemakaer is meant to be quite large and needs lots of space both on the sides and top/bottom. However, in some cases (like yours) you may want to adjust further these spaces, so we will add a class in the div that holds the flash content, and you can adjust its height/width the way you want (from your own template’s css, not from islidex).
