Hey George, Barnez, Jerry – thanks so much!
I’m pretty inept with this sort of thing, thinking I’ll start with the broken link checker.
And if that doesn’t do it I’ll see if I can do what Jerry suggested.
Any way to know how this happened? Wasn’t that way last time I looked.

Hi – similar issue.

I’m using Libre Office for the text I want to see.
It’s mostly short blurbs about the book I’m selling.
I’m using two fonts, Ariel and Times New Roman, mostly 18pt.
Sometimes bold, sometimes italics, red and black text.

There’s 4 blurbs at the top, then an image, then 4 more.

When I paste it into WordPress, it usually has the 1st two blurbs correct, but from there, every time, the silly thing overrides what I pasted and chooses italics for some, bold for others, different sizes for others, totally random for the remaining 6 blurbs.

Then there’s another image down a bit and it’s pasting correctly from there, with all the different fonts and colors etc.

I’ve tried using Google docs, saving it as a .doc file paste from those formats, tried inserting the blurbs one at a time, tried using Elementor (briefly)
Rare to encounter anything as annoying as this.

Hi George – first, I want to apologize for the slow response, way too busy with other stuff for a few days.

Thank you so much for the quick, clear and accurate response and your thoughts on the marketing aspect of the page. It would be difficult for someone to have less marketing experience than me. Very much appreciated.

Pretty soon, I plan to be offering limited time free downloads to several relevant FB groups and friends and do plan to use the header-less page for that for sure.

The main/only reason I’m thinking it should be included on the site is because it annoys me if I’m on a site and I can’t bounce around.

I’ll be editing the url’s soon, and again, thank you! Someone else mentioned ‘hiding’ the url’s – is there any good reason to do that?

Hi,

Is it possible to have multiple passwords?

I’ll be providing customers of selected retailers with a free download of extra stuff after purchasing a book and need to track where the customers made the purchase.

Each retailer will have a unique ‘discount code’ that their customers use to make the purchase online and I’d like to use those codes as passwords for the downloads.

I did read the documentation link, didn’t see any info about this.

I’m not a site developer, will be passing this info along to the person who does the work on my site.
