It is very strange this behavior.
Yours are the first reports of a general slowness in the backend area.
Are you really sure it depends on this plugin?
From what I’ve seen I didn’t notice anything that can break down the performances.
The only sections that might be affected should be Login procedure and Plugin Settings.

Still continue to investigate.

Thanks also for the report you made to me, I have created a new version fixing the bug.

Unfortunately my work does not allow me to follow the project too much, but I think there are many other interesting features to develop.

Btw if you want to solve immediately your problem you can disable the plugin by the backend or remove the folder from wp-content/plugins.
