actually I was mistaken this function messes with elementor: the_excerpt_max_charlength

I’m having the same issue. A client has elementor and it’s crashing because of my plugin.

It’s not working (“Sorry, the content area was not found in your page.” Error) because I use setup_postdata($post) to add a list of featured posts as a shortcode, and at the end of the plugin I return to setup_postdata($oldpost) (the edited page) and still it’s not working.

It would be nice to have some functions to be able to deal with this kind of issues.

The plugin is only a javascript script that listens to ajax, and when a messages comes it takes it and puts it in colorbox. So it should work, if contact form 7 allows it

Instead of Lightbox Plus Colorbox try Simple Colorbox and it will work

Make sure that Lightbox Plus Colorbox works.

By that I mean put an image into a post or page and click on it to see if it works. If not, neither this plugin won’t.

Read the other messages and you’ll see the fix.

The problem is with Ligbox Plus Colorbox.

An workaround would be to install colobox js library (that’s why it’s not working for you).

I’ll try to ditch the dependency of “Lightbox Plus Colorbox” it gets more and more unstable.

So: Install Colorbox.js library or a module that supports this library.

You can change the style of the popup from the lightbox plus plugin, and the response message from the contact form 7

Follow this steps:

Go to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=lightboxplus;

1. Expand the last box on that page (“Lightbox Plus ColorBox – Reset/Re-initialize”) by clicking on it;
2. press “Reset/Re-initialize Lightbox Plus ColorBox” button
3. refresh page

Ok I think I found the problem.

If you have an older version of WordPress you need to reinitialize Lightbox Plus ColorBox.

The problem is you don’t have colorbox properly installed.

Uncaught TypeError: Object function (a,b){return new n.fn.init(a,b)} has no method ‘colorbox’

Make sure LightBox Plus Colorbox plugin is active.

Go to Appearence>Lightbox Plus menu from admin page. and try a demo to see if it’s working!
