Hey, just curious – did you ever figure out how to resolve this? I’m running into the same issue even though I also inputted the Google API key. For me, the fonts that are not showing up are all the most recently added Google Fonts. I thought the Google API key would give the most up-to-date list of fonts to pick from.

Thank you for your response! I really appreciate it. I was wondering – are you considering adding the ability to enable grouping for gallery items only? That would make the plugin perfect in my eyes! I think my theme is modifying the excerpt via “content-grid.php” using the below line. This template seems to be associated specifically with my theme, Solopine’s “Florence” (which overall seems pretty well thought-out, at least to my non-developer eye!) It seems “content-grid.php” is setting the grid layout I’m using for my Archive pages. Could this be what’s preventing the plugin from working right out of the box? Would it be possible to make some sort of modification such that content-grid.php respects your plugin? (Probably a dumb question – I have no clue what I’m doing…)

Oh, and I did try deleting it and reinstalling+activating it, but no luck.

Hm… really? I don’t see the styles applied. I still see the site title (my name) in “Amatic SC” font, not PT Sans. (“Amatic” is one of the theme font options for the site title, under Customize… “PT Sans” is not a theme option for the title — that’s what I’m trying to change.)

That’s the only CSS I’ve tried to change so far in the child theme stylesheet. I haven’t tried to change the others because I’m not sure if that CSS code is correct, and what I’d use instead of
#masthead .site-title {
to specify the Page links and the sub-heading.
