I have an updated version that some people are testing. I have eliminated the AJAX and have the php code place the ical data directly into the javascript code after it downloads it from the ical server. There were too many security issues with AJAX on some peoples web hosts.

That page URL is a preview link to a page that you have yet to publish, so I can’t see it. Can you go ahead and publish it? You can put it on a temp page that no one would know about if you don’t want people to see it yet.

The plug in shows a calendar that gets the data from your external iCal link. It can do multiple calendars on one WordPress site but each calendar has its own iCal feed, it does not mix multiple iCal feeds into one calendar.
I don’t understand your question about changing rates. The calendar only shows booked dates, no rate info.

OMG your current process would drive me batty!

Modifying the code to do 2 x 6 for 12 months is easy. I can walk you through what to file to edit and where. Basically changing a few numbers in the Javascript code to 2 and 6.

Getting the extra column with your prices in it is not so easy. That would require some custom coding by me and I would have to charge money for that time. How would you want your price info to be input? Would you want extra fields in the setup menu?

I understand your confusion. Innate Images VR Calendar plugin is from a different company. They copied my description text exactly so people get confused thinking they are the same one. I don?t know much about that one sorry.

And by the way I can see how you confused mine with theirs, since they copied my name, description and instructions almost verbatim. At least they didn’t rip off my code (as far as I can tell).

My plugin only shows one property per calendar. You can have as many calendars as you want, each on its own page with its own iCal source, but it does not merge them together on one calendar like the other guys does. But then it is free so there you go ??

Bought the plugin? I don’t charge for the plugin, it is free. Are you sure you are talking to the right plugin author? I think you must be using someone else’s plugin not mine. Where did you buy this?

Did you do the following?

1) From your WP dashboard click Plugins, then Add New
2) In the search box (top right) type in VR calendar, hit enter
3) You should see my VR Calendar plugin as the first one
4) Click Install Now

Now on your WP dashboard click Settings, VR Calendar

How about just giving me a hook in the next release so I can add a filter to decide who can edit? Otherwise I can just not update or hack the code. Seem like I am the only one asking so does not seem worth the effort.

Could this be made optional? We use the extra meta fields to enable certain capabilities for users. Allowing them to edit their own would let them do things we don?t want them to.
