In reply to: [DMCA Protection Badge] DMCA plugin still doesn’t work! This Plesk WP Toolkit problem is still present. As far as I can judge it is caused by your plugin giving a false response via WP_CLI for update requests. The strange thing is that it doesn’t happen on all sites: I have five with your plugin and only three give the error. There doesn’t seem to be any clear combination with other plugins. When I disable your plugin, the Plesk error goes away.
PLEASE FIX and retest: it is over one year now!

In reply to: [DMCA Protection Badge] DMCA plugin still doesn’t work! Thanks, it took a while!
The version 0.0 issue has gone away, but I still get an error message from Plesk, as follows:
Für folgende Elemente wurden keine Updates installiert: 1. Website "The HEAT Method" (https://heat-method.info): Failed to reset cache for the instance #167: Fehler bei der Dekodierung von JSON: Decoding failed: Syntax error 2. Website "Mauro Valli" (https://maurovalli.com): Failed to reset cache for the instance #181: Fehler bei der Dekodierung von JSON: Decoding failed: Syntax error
At least the really long error message has gone away.
It tells me that the version number is “0.0”.
It doesn’t look good. The version numbering does not work correctly when I simply install the plugin… If I click update it asks me to update againl gives the version number as 0.0 ??
I’m going to deinstall again. Please let me know when it is really tested.
Many thanks
David

In reply to: [DMCA Protection Badge] DMCA autoupdate failsThe version number error has gone away now: there was incorrect formatting of the plugin header that led to the version 0.0 error.
However, the problem with Plesk WP Toolkit recurs every night (see a second forum entry)…

In reply to: [DMCA Protection Badge] DMCA autoupdate failsI tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin. Now it has version “0.0” and keeps asking to be updated. The update seems to work, but the plugin still asks to be updated…
Something is broken here.

In reply to: [MapPress Maps for WordPress] MapPress access for non-administratorsThanks, we’ll try it.
I have exactly the same problem. It has worked fine forever (I’ve used mailpoet since it started!) and today it just stopped without my doing anything. My activation key is unchanged. My site is atelier17a.ch. I have set up the requested DNS entires, but I cannot access the server on my hosting so carrying out a curl command is impossible.

In reply to: [Advanced uploader] Optionally create a PNG for each PDF pageDon’t worry – I don’t have many SVG files, and the standard WP uploader worked alright with them…

In reply to: [Advanced uploader] Optionally create a PNG for each PDF pageAnother thing: the uploader doesn’t behave correctly with PNG and SVG files: the thumbnail produced is a black blob!

In reply to: [Advanced uploader] Optionally create a PNG for each PDF pageHi Oli
Thanks for the rapid response. My suggestion is that the individual JPG or PNG (preferred) files could be placed in the regular place where the thumbnails etc. live. A naming convention could be 2014-12-21_6306-Pnn.jpg, where (for instance) 2014-12-21_6306.pdf is the original file, and Pnn represents the page number. Ideally, a data block would be added to the attachment meta with a suitable tag ‘page_images’ and an array of filenames, so that the count of pages is automatically available.
I could imagine specifying a minimum and maximum pixel dimension, perhaps for the shorter side of the page. In order to have adequate display quality with suitable resolution but files that are not too large, a typical size would be 1500 px for the short side of an A4 page (this means around 2120 px for the longer side). Typical American paper sizes give similar results. I could also imagine having a parameter to limit the maximum number of pages created per individual PDF.
