Got it. I am on it, talking with my host now.
Thanks for your help! Yeah I have used “inspect” before. Fun tool ??
Oh man…it isn’t just my WordPress login. My website itself gives that error. So now no one can see my website, it just says error establishing a database connection.
This has never happened before.
I went in to test it, but I can’t access my Word Press site at all–I can’t get into anything, let alone the CSS file.
I went to my WordPress login for my site, and it said error establishing a database connection.
Thanks for your help. I am sure your new code will work once I can test it.
Talking with my host now to see why my website itself is down and why I can’t get into my WordPress admin at all.

The two buttons only appear for a split second. I scrolled down to where they were and refreshed the page, so I could use print screen to capture it.
This is the image. The button on the right is what I want, but like I said it only appears for a split second, and then it is gone, and all that is left is the one on the left.

This is the page, but you will just see the incorrect button unless you scroll to the area with the buttons, and then click refresh. When you do that, you will see the two buttons side by side for a split second.
I tried that code.
So what is happening is when I first load the page, I can see two buttons: one that now has the correct background color but the text color is pink and the button is small–not the size I made it, and then the one following my CSS right next to it. So I do see a fully correct version of my button at first. However, within a few seconds, the one built with my code disappears, and then there is just the button that only follows the background color of the code.
Thanks, Phil. That is a great idea. I will do that.
Well, that’s a bit silly. The email is called a purchase receipt, but it doesn’t even contain the receipt. I don’t want a link. It would be nice for the receipt to just be in the email.
I don’t use user logins because that is pointless to me and seems like an extra cumbersome step for customers.
Anyway, other than that this plugin is great. Is there any extension for the plugin that would allow the receipt to just appear in the email, no link needed? If not, then I will have to let that go. I just thought I would ask.
This one is still an issue and hasn’t been addressed. Any help with this please?
Is it possible to have a copy of the receipt show in the purchase receipt email without having them login? The shortcode {receipt link} doesn’t work as that one just creates a link for the user to click on to then login.
I just want the receipt in the body of the email text (the same receipt that appears on the Thank You page). Is there a shortcode I can add to the email that will do that?
I just deactivated WP Super Cache, and it fixed that problem.
I deactivated WP Super Cache, and now my checkout cart works. However, customer information is still missing, so I will submit a support ticket for that.
I can start a support ticket. But no, I didn’t deactivate the plugins yet because like I said I can’t even test if it will work since I can’t even checkout.
I will submit a support ticket.
I can’t test that because now I can’t even checkout. I started another thread about that issue on Saturday. I used to be able to checkout, but now I click on checkout and nothing happens.
Not sure why this post got marked as resolved since it isn’t.
I don’t see where I can start a support ticket. The link you sent just takes me to articles to read. I am going through the article on cart checkout issues to see if I can resolved that one.
I am having the same problem, though I do see their emails. It doesn’t say (unknown) in the email field for me, but it does say (customer missing) in the customer field.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WordPress Simple Shopping Cart] Create custom email for digital purchasesI am checking out with this shortcode: [wp_cart_button name=”Business Finance Tracker” price=”0.01″ file_url=”https://example.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/ebook1.pdf”]
I haven’t put in the URL parameters for the other products yet, but I am only checking out with the Business Finance Tracker add to cart button.
Anyway, thank you for being so responsive and helpful. Normally, I am not quite as needy as I am able to figure things out. I just seemed to run into a lot of issues.
Your plugin is awesome though, and I will recommend it to others. However, I have chosen to use a different plugin since my products are free for a time, and with yours, a user can’t checkout with a $0.00 balance. But great plugin overall.
Thanks so much!
