In reply to: [Portfolio Gallery - Image Gallery Plugin] Can’t add any new imagesOops just noticed someone recently asked the same thing. I looked before I posted and didn’t see it, but now I do. I will try reaching out to my hosting server as mentioned.

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] CSV importer not transferring over client nameOK I solved this myself. I used a plugin called custom fields, then I created a custom field that showed up on Strong Testimonials called client name. Now the client name appears on the testimonial next to Full Name.

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] CSV importer not transferring over client nameIn the instructions for CSV importer, it says to select client_name next to the WP field post_author. But post_author is reserved for who published the post in the WordPress admin. So I think that is the problem. I am not sure what WP field to link client_name to.
The example in the instructions from Strong Testimonial shows they have linked client_name to post_author, and the client name showed up in the Full Name in client details section of the testimonial, but that isn’t working for me.
I tried adding a custom WP field called full_name and linking that to client_name in my CSV file, but no go. I can not get anything to appear next to Full Name in the Client Details section. In the example Vlad Mosko was entered in as client_name, and it appeared next to full name in Strong Testimonials, but perhaps because Vlad is an admin.- This reply was modified 1 year, 8 months ago by dsrt16.

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] CSV importer not transferring over client nameI think you misunderstood me. I did import testimonials from a CSV file, using the sample to model my own after, and I used the plugin WP Ultimate CSV Importer. So I already had done just as you suggested.
What I was saying is I followed those instructions, and it didn’t import the client’s name.
I, however, haven’t yet even created a form because first I was transferring over my testimonials from another plugin. So I will try that.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Filter by categoryOK, so you can only have two categories? I have five categories for my five different services, and I display the testimonials for that category on each specific service page on my one domain. So what version would I need to get to have the ability to have five categories?

In reply to: [Easy Testimonials] Testimonial Cycle Widget FIXI am looking for another testimonial plugin. I can’t seem to find one that has category filters AND allows you to import testimonials. I can find one or the other.
Any luck finding a plugin that will allow you to import your testimonials from Easy Testimonials so I don’t have to manually recreate them one by one?Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Easy Testimonials] Garbage- deserves zero starsSo what did you do? Did you just find a new plugin and have to painstakingly transfer each and every testimonial over to new plugin? I just discovered that my testimonial cycle stopped working. It shows one static testimonial instead of cycling through them. I am able to add new testimonials, and new ones appear on my testimonial page, but on my service pages where I want them to cycle, they do not.

In reply to: [Easy Testimonials] Plugin has stopped working after v3.92My problem is that the cycle stopped working. So now instead of cycling through the testimonials. It just shows one static one. The plugin appears to be broken in a lot of ways now based on all the various posts about different issues, and no one is responding with any fix or help. So how do I revert back to older version?
I selected rollback on the plugin and it only gives the option of rolling back to version 1.0 and 1.1. So yeah no!- This reply was modified 1 year, 9 months ago by dsrt16.
I used LifterLMS to build my course. Love it! But unless it is a separate plugin, it doesn’t have this functionality. I doubt any LMS plugins would, as it isn’t a standard feature of a course.
SOLVED it
I see that LifterLMS adds course sidebar and lesson sidebar widgets. However, I need my blog to look the same as it currently looks.
I need my course page and lesson pages to NOT look like my blogs. They need to have the course sidebars and lesson sidebars, not my blog sidebar with blog categories and such.
Is there not a way to have both a blog and a course on your website with LifterLMS? Does designing the course erase the design for my blog? This doesn’t really make sense to me.
It seems lifterLMS lesson and course pages are created in blog POSTS rather than in website pages, so it will just look like my blog? If that is true, then that makes no sense. You would have to know some of us would have blogs on our websites and we wouldn’t want the course to look like our blogs. Is there no way to make them PAGES rather than blog POSTS?
I have a theme already for my website. It is the theme I need for my website. I just need the course page and lesson pages to be pages not blog posts. I have to be missing something. It just doesn’t seem like developers would design an LMS that would be blog posts. That is ridiculous.

In reply to: [LearnPress - WordPress LMS Plugin] Navigation menu is all messed upNo thank you. My website has a custom theme. I need my custom theme as it is my branding and my style. I guess I will just have to look elsewhere.
I get that. But I am not talking about the styling (the font or colors or anything like that). I am talking about the fact that the sidebar on the right is my blog sidebar with blog category names, blog search bar, and subscribe to my blog bar.
The page is formatted EXACTLY how my blogs are, with social media share buttons on top, the blog content in the middle area, the blog sidebar to the right, and then a purple box around all of it. This shouldn’t happen.
It is literally like I posted a blog.
That information should not even appear on my course home page and lesson pages, so why are they? The point of getting a LMS plugin for me is so that my courses LOOK like courses, not like blog pages.
Did you look at my course home page that I linked to in my original comment? You can see it looks like a blog.
Please look at my course home page.https://beaconpointservices.org/course/running-your-editorial-business-like-a-pro/
Got my site back up, and I tested your code. It works! Thanks!
