In reply to: SCript error debuggingIt was emptied, not deleted. sorry should choose my phrasing better but its not the real solution anyway as I loose info on pages listed above. So no, not the solution
I’m lost anyway..have been trying to sort this for weeks so might just have to start again as I want multiple authors and this is just crashing peoples browsers.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: SCript error debuggingyep…have deleted and reinstalled WP with nothing in it. With database restored the only thing that resolves the issue is deleting wp_postmeta in the database..but this gets rid of info on these pages for example
https://www.digitalsole.info/?page_id=77
https://www.digitalsole.info/?page_id=289so i thought it might be a podpress issue..so deactivated and restored wp_postmeta but same issue.
Have tried with no plugins or themes but it seems deleting wp_postmeta is the only way the script error goes..but then so does all the info.

In reply to: SCript error debuggingyep..have it restored now. Loose all my podpress media on pages when i clear wp_postmeta. This is the only thing that resolves it. Deactivating plugins/themes (including Podpress) etc does nothing. Seems to be an issue with wp_postmeta as it works fine when empty but i have no idea how to fins out whats causing it. Cant find errors in the table but not good with DB’s

In reply to: SCript error debuggingWhen i emptied wp_postmeta in the database this resolved the problem..just not sure what this has done but it works

In reply to: SCript error debuggingI’ve deleted the database and reinstalled WP2.3.1…works fine.
Imported the SQL file into the database and error returns..so its seems to be a database problem.
Is there anyway of finding whats causing this problem. Tried using a different database name but still comes back..so it has to be a problem in the database

In reply to: 2 problems i need help withIs there anyone who can help with this script error. If I try to write a new post in IE it goes “not responding” and hangs
In Firefox it works but only after I stop the script error. It now seems to be a problem loading the toolbars in the write post area as these only appear after the script is stopped..is there any files I can replace or check?Any info greatly appreciated

In reply to: Blog looks funny in IE, Firefox is perfecthad a similar issue and it turned out to be problems with images on the page. I check both browsers each time I add a post now. May not be the same issue but worth a shot
