Hi, Having a similar issue.

Would like to have one image (separate from the gallery) open a collection of images grouped into a gallery using WordPress media gallery.
Have followed the instructions for Can I use ONE thumbnail to open a complete gallery ? in the FAQ but cannot get to work.

Thank you for the quick reply. I too ended up uploading images.

This approach is not desired as it creates more files to manage in the media.

But without any response to a possible solution – uploaded images will have to do for now…

Hello, I too am expericeing the An unknown error occurred.
The test PDF being uploaded is a 6 pages and 215KB.

Also wanted to know if there is a way to modify the code so it focuses to the top of the map?

The problem is that the site the map is implemented uses a “sticky menu / navigation(approximately 96px height)” so when a user scrolls down the page the top menu is always on top of browser window. So, when the “View On Map” is clicked it focuses to the map (as it should), but the “sticky menu” is overlayed on top of the map and user still has to scroll a little up to see the complete map.

Any thoughts?

It would be done overriding the exsiting CSS for the specific template chosen for the slidehow.
If you have chosen the standard template;
.cycloneslider-template-standard .cycloneslider-caption{background:none!important;}
Would remove the transparent background.

To change opacity/transparency lighter;
.cycloneslider-template-standard .cycloneslider-caption{opacity: 0.5;}
Note that 0.5 would be 50%, 1.0 equals 100%(visible). Also note that that changing the opacity would also affect the text.

The height of the background color is controlled by both the padding found in;
.cycloneslider-template-standard .cycloneslider-caption-title{}
.cycloneslider-template-standard .cycloneslider-caption-description{}
There is no specific height given.

When editing slideshow…
Basic Settings > Next slide Delay: 0 to disable auto advance.

Had noticed a similar problem after installing WordPress SEO by Yoast. Could not solve so have disabled the SEO plugin for now. But the Smarter Navigation plugin has still been finicky (navigation and referrer_link not begin consistent).

The plugin is most consistent when logged in. Just checked now and the navigation was not showing at all. So yeah, very finicky ;(
