Sorry if I wasn’t clear, I made a blog and have bought my own domain name. I wanted to optimise (SEO) it and add/install plugins, therefore needed the plugin feature in the dashboard. From what I understand, this can only be done by installing MAMP in order to get the full features in the WordPress blog dashboard (on macs).
After the MAMP installation, WordPress only gave me the option to start a new account/blog. I tired to log out then log back into my original blog but it just didn’t let me log in, unless I logged in from the main WordPress home page which again, didn’t allow me to get the added plugin features in the dashboard.
So basically, I installed MAMP on my mac and I want to link my own (bought from WordPress) domain name to it.
I hope I have cleared things up.
I have tired looking for tutorial but cannot find anything. I am sure its simple and I’m just missing something basic.
