It’s only working because I abandoned GDE for the rest of the week so that parishioners could see it. I went with Spiderpowa and changed the file to a pdf so it would work.

Sorry I should have thought about that before posting my note.

I’ll change in back on Saturday and repost.

For now I’ll mark it as resolved. I clearly have some other issues with the site. Until I resolve all of them, I won’t be working on the The Events Calendar.

On further investigation, I don’ even find an “events” folder anywhere in the structure of my website.

Thanks, I had already done that and still not luck.

I don’t know why, but I think I solved the problem. Reading some other posts regarding uploading, I came across one suggesting creating a new folder under wp-content.

Did that and now everything is working as intended.

Hope this can help someone else.

Makes no difference whether 777 or 755 still same message. Host (Jumpline) looked into it and can find nothing on their end to fix the problem. I have two other sites running 3.2.1 with no such problems.

Anybody else have anything to add?

esmi, thanks for that information. I have created a child theme, but I don’t see it listed in the themes folder? It only has a minimal css file in it.

Found my own answer. Found the header images in the theme images folder. I overlooked that before.

Ignore that message. Found the missing info. Not in a page at all it’s in the links! Ye gods, and it’s only 10 am.

Well, son of a gun, now they do! It’s a mystery. 20 minutes ago each returned a “file not found” message.

The folder is there and has 777 as the permission as well as the wp-contents folder.

So, I’m guessing the problem is elsewhere. I get the same message when trying to add media to the site.

Bottom line…pay attention to the details. Albums w/o galleries simply don’t show up!!! ??
