  • Sorry, I didn’t explain my situation well enough. I wanted a way to use my domain name as the url of my main page, and have this page be both my main page AND my posts page.

But I found a way to do this with no problem with the theme I’m using.

So my problem has been resolved.

    Thanks anyways.

    I have a similar situation:

I would like to have a multi-page site with my main page’s url to be “www.mydomain.com” (no “/blahblahblah” after it) and have it display my posts.

I would also like this page to be editable within wp-admin, as I want to tweak it and include it in the site’s menu.

But I can’t seem to find a way to create a page without WP adding the /blahblahblah to the end of the url.

And if I just leave the page as “www.mydomain.com” then I can’t actually work with the page, as it’s not listed in the Pages section in wp-admin.

I understand that I can create a static page and use it as my main page. But I can’t find a way to create ANY page without WP putting /blahblahblah at the end of the url.

So, to put it shortly, how does one create a page (static or otherwise), that can be editable in wp-admin and included in a menu, that does NOT have a url with /blahblahblah at the end?

It looks like many others are doing this, so there must be a way.

    Am I overlooking something?

If this is impossible by standard wp-admin ways, is there a practical workaround?
