    Hi @govaerts,

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and feedback!

Our team has worked hard to make sure that our free version includes everything needed to create a basic contact form. Having said that, we also understand that there might be some more features that could be helpful to our Lite users.

Can you please let us know what specific features you’re looking for that you wish to be available in the Lite version? That way, I can take note of it and pass it along to the team. ??

    Thank again!

    Hi @kandim,

Thanks for the review, and I’m glad you’re liking our plugin!

When you have a chance, could you please let me know how we might earn that 5th star from you? That way I can share your feedback with our team, or potentially even offer ideas for how to do what you’re looking for.

Thanks! Please let me know ??

    Hi @hamadi,

We really appreciate your feedback about WPForms.

The Lite version is basically a mixed package of fields and features required to get you started with the world of the forms.

In regards to the additional functionalities that you have mentioned, CC for sending, I assume you’re looking for sending the form submission emails to multiple email addresses. While we do have a feature to add multiple notifications separately in the paid version, you can still achieve this through a workaround by adding multiple emails and separating them using commas. Here’s a screenshot of how you could do it: link.

I am not fully clear on the first functionality you mentioned so I would love some extra details on that. If you’d like to share more details about that, please feel welcome to post in our WPForms Lite support forum.

We hope to earn that 5th star from you in the days to come. ??

    Regards!

    Hi @aruncs,

Thank you for your feedback and We are sorry to hear that your experience with WPForms usage was not up to the mark.

While we understand that it might have been an unpleasing experience, we can assure you that we have tested it using Elementor and it appeared to be working fine. On the other hand it’s fair to say these issues can occur at times. We don’t want our users to face such issues and I believe it could be happening due to some CSS conflicts or something else.

We would be happy to help you fix any issues if you could share more details, URLs, and possibly some screenshots of the issue. Please feel free to reach out to our team on the WPForms Support Forum.

We look forward to helping you.
    Regards!

    Hi @gascone,

Thank you for leaving us your feedback and we are sorry to hear that you faced issues setting up reCAPTCHA. Please allow me to share some details about it and I hope that it helps in fixing the issue.

Before I share about any other possible cause or solution, however, it’s a good idea to first do a quick check on your settings (if these are set up incorrectly, it can cause an issue.). You can check on this by comparing your form settings for reCAPTCHA against our tutorial. Here’s the link to it. If any detail in the doc is confusing, please just let us know.

In case the settings are correct and the issue still exists, then there’s a chance that it could be causing due to double reCAPTCHA loading.

When we’ve seen this happen, it’s usually because the code that runs reCAPTCHA is getting loaded twice on the page — once by WPForms, and once by either your theme or another plugin. With the double code, the reCAPTCHA appears correctly but displays a validation error when it shouldn’t.

The fastest and easiest solution will be to enable No-Conflict Mode in WPForm’s reCAPTCHA settings (under WPForms > Settings > reCAPTCHA tab, here’s a screenshot.). When enabled, this setting will remove any other occurrences of reCAPTCHA on pages where WPForms is used, and this will prevent conflict with the reCAPTCHA code in WPForms.

Alternatively, you could consider turning off reCAPTCHA and using the hCAPTCHA feature, which is like reCAPTCHA. You can see the setup guide here.

I hope it helps. In case you still face an issue, please don’t hesitate to create a support ticket on our WPForms Support Forum. We would be more than happy to help you with it.

    Regards!

    Hi @amcmo,

Thank you for sharing your feedback and we are sorry to hear about your experience with WPForms Lite. Our team has worked hard to make sure that our free version includes everything needed to create a basic contact form.

The Standard Fields like the Single Line Text, Paragraph Text and Numbers fields can be used to collect any information you’d like (like phone number).

Here you can check our complete guide to Field Types in WPForms (which field type is included on each license level).

If you have any suggestions for the things you’d like to see in the Lite version, please let me know and I’d be happy to share your feedback with the team.

Also, please allow me to share a few articles where you can go through the premium features and compare it with the Lite version so you would be in the best position to judge whether WPForms is worth the try. Here’s one and here’s the other one.

And if you’d like any help with using WPForms Lite, please feel welcome to post in our WPForms Lite support forum.

    Regards!

    Thanks!

    Hi @leserg,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. And we are sorry for the inconvenience that you faced due to the rating notification.

The notification asking you to provide a rating is dismissable so you can dismiss it from your WordPress dashboard. Please share if you get the notifications frequently even after dismissing them.

    Hi @kelltech,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the plugin. We appreciate it.
In regards to the issue with spam that you’re receiving, I apologize for it and would like to share more alternate options and some details about it.

We’ve recently been seeing an increase in reports from users who use reCAPTCHA and how they’re receiving more SPAM. This unfortunately is an issue with Google and it’s possible there was a recent vulnerability exploited to allow bots to bypass this.

We’ve also noticed that most of the reports are from users who have the Invisible reCaptcha setup. In case this is what you are using at the moment, you might want to consider switching to the Checkbox reCaptcha if you would like to use Google services. We have a comprehensive guide on how to get that set up here.

However, if you would not like to use Google services, you can use some other alternatives as mentioned below (includes Captcha as well):

    1. We have a built-in anti-spam protection feature in the form builder. This does not require any additional setup and should be enabled by default in the form builder > Settings > General. When enabled in the form, it works in the background to protect your forms against spam. For more details about the anti-spam protection feature, please see our tutorial here.

    2. Block or allow specific email addresses: Using our Allowlist/Denylist feature, you can restrict or allow specific email addresses that can be used to submit your forms. We have a detailed tutorial for setting this up.

And if you’d like to, you can consider the following third-party plugins to protect your forms against spam:

WordPress Zero Spam: This plugin is simple to set up and works right out of the box.

Spam protection, AntiSpam, FireWall by CleanTalk: This option requires registration and offers more settings for customization. Please see their site page for more details.

And if you’d like more help with using WPForms, please feel free to post in our WPForms Support forum.

    Thanks!

    Hi @cultivatelearn,

We apologize for any trouble you might’ve run into and any loss of data experienced while using WPForms Lite!

WPForms Lite form submissions are not stored in WordPress and only exist in the notification emails that are sent. If you decide at any point to upgrade to a paid version, you will be able to store and view future entries on your website. We do try to clarify this with the entry page notice in Lite. However, please let me know if you have any suggestions on how we can improve this.

If you’d like to learn more about form notification emails, here’s our tutorial with all the details. In Lite, you’re able to set up one notification email — however, you can send this one notification to as many different email addresses as you’d like.

But, if you are already aware of the notifications and facing an email delivery issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure an SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

And if there are any other issues where you’d like more help with using WPForms Lite, please feel welcome to post in our WPForms Lite support forum.

    I hope this helps.
    Regards!

    Hi @koffindodjer,

Thank you for sharing your feedback and we are sorry for any inconvenience that you faced using the cancellation process.

    Why cancellation process is longer?

Our current license cancelation process is set that way in the best interest of our users so that you will be aware of what happens when you cancel the license.
Thus, we show every option related to your license in the process to make sure that you are aware of them. Despite those options, you can still move forward with the process and cancel the license.

But I have shared your feedback with our team and we will be discussing if we can improve this process further.

Why does renewal increase after a year?

I’m sorry for any confusion over our introductory discount. That 50% discount applies only for the first year of a license subscription, and renewals are at full price.

In case it helps to provide more clarification, we include this information on the checkout page (here) before the license purchase is done.

Also, to provide advanced notice, we send out a reminder email a month before your renewal (in addition to the email sent after the renewal is processed) with details on how much the license renewal costs. If you don’t find either of these emails in your inbox, they may have been filtered by your email service’s spam protection settings, unfortunately. I’m sorry if this felt unclear in any way!

In addition to the details that I have shared above, please feel free to post any questions that you have in our support forum.

    Thanks!
