  • I’ve got the same problem but have come to a different conclusion as to what is at fault.

When I check out the title using the ‘SEO/Analyze this page/Check Headers/SEO Check’ option in the WordPress SEO Toolbar, the additional duplicate text appears at the end of every title.

To correct it, I selected ‘Force rewrite titles’ in the ‘Titles and Metas’ section of WordPress SEO. It’s working now for me, but definitely something changed in the last WordPress SEO release to cause this.

FYI: This same problem popped up a year+ ago but Yoast corrected it in a subsequent release.

    Cheers.

I selected more options in settings and all is well – sorry I bothered you but know I’m VERY impressed by your speedy response!

Same problem with all my sites.

    1) First noticed that sitemaps were getting errors/warnings in Google Webmsater Tools.

    2) Went to WordPress SEO XML Sitemaps and clicked ‘You can find your XML Sitemap here’ button and got 404.

    3) Came to this Forum and saw post that recommended to ‘save settings’ which appeared to work. Also manually resubmitted sitemap in Webmaster Tools which cleared errors/warnings.

    4) Later in the day 404 problem is back. Webmaster Tools again reporting errors/warnings on finding sitemap.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Steve

My sitemaps count images inserted in Posts, but not when they are set as a Featured Image. Because my clients and I use the Featured Images on all posts, the counts are therefore all zero.
