Update: changing all file folders under JS in wp-includes to 755 fixed the WYSIWYG problem, however, the links for inserting media and pics as well as Feature Image still do not work. The link attempts to load, then no window pops up or anything – no error given. Also the formatting section in WYSIWYG shows “advanced.block” “advanced.paragraph” etc.

Getting closer… Still has to be a permissions error.

Same problem. I have a self-hosted site and none of the [ ] commands from any plug-in are working.

Obviously I typed it in HTML tab, etc. The page simply stopped working with the code. Doesn’t work in posts, widgets, etc.

Some help would be nice.
